Owned  by Molly O'Connell of Centennial, Colorado, Stratford Wheatens has bred quality Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers for 22 years.  O'Connell is a member of  the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of America, Inc., as well as a director of the Greater Denver Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club, Inc. 

Stratford produces puppies on a limited basis.  These youngsters are bred from AKC champions who have had hip certification (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals), eye  certification (CERF) as well as multiple laboratory tests to ensure the production of the healthiest puppies possible.  Over the years, 49 Stratford dogs have attained AKC conformation championships with seven ranked in the Top 10, including Stratford Spice Girl, the #1 Wheaten Terrier bitch in 2006.
